You only need to watch Legion online and see by the film clips that Stewart is well-respected in the special effects world. Angels armed to the teeth is scary enough to imagine, but only someone with a passion for visuals would add to such a horrific scene the imagery of the Wicked Witch of the West’s flying minion monkeys. You’ll see such a scene when you watch Legion online. The most disturbing scene in the trailer, though, is a toss-up between one featuring an ice-cream vendor in what appears to be the middle of the night and another with a little old lady in a diner. You’ll have to watch Legion online to see these two contenders. You may be thrown into a panic attack the next time the ice cream truck visits your street, or worse, never be able to close your eyes at your grandmother’s house again. Angels aren’t new to this film genre, and it’s usually a good bet that when you see one in a horror flick, he’s got plans for an apocalypse. If you’ve seen The Prophecy and Dogma, then the concept of descending angels taking their frustrations out on humanity shouldn’t leave you in a state of shock. Though it’s not clear when you watch Legion online just what issues the angel Gabriel, played by Kevin Durand, has with people, all you really need to know is obvious in that icy stare. What evil he lacks in comparison seems to be easily accounted for in muscle. When you watch Legion online, it’s obvious that, in a comparison of the three angels-gone-wild movies, this one will hold it’s own. Afterwards, if you can’t manage to work yourself into a state of terror, don’t be above drawing on the crazy-armed demon ice cream man or the grandmother of doom for inspiration. Something tells me each one of the above eats werewolves and vampires for lunch. |
